Holidays of Semptember 18th

Hello, this time I am going to tell them to all about what I have done in the celebrations of Fiestas Patrias and, well, so that to speak about the most ancient if we can remember these that happened, that are more fresh. The truth is that I did not celebrate the week of holidays like “oh, the Fiestas Patrias”, but - in general with the people that I share also - it was well received like a week of holidays, with more "typical" things perhaps (like choripán, terremoto, more barbique, chicha, etc). 

For these holidays, my brother (who lives in Villarrica) came for Santiago, for the same, the weekend previous to 18 we went to see my dad, who lives in the country. It was quite entertaining, because the people that live there are very good to amuse themselves and to fool about. then we dance, laugh and ate a lot.

After Monday comes, we join in my house, with my brothers (Nati, Pachi, Hugo), my mom, Nico - the boyfriend of my sister - and Gisse, a friend of my sister. My family is quite ridiculous, so when we are together we join, explode in laughs and jokes … It Was very good, of that time on Tuesday we repeat it.

On Wednesday and Thursday I joined with my friends of the school (it did not see several long ago!), there we remember old anecdotes and well, spend it great. On Friday, we went to Peñaflor, to house of a friend, where we did a roast and took a lot of “terremoto”; for distance and hour we remain to sleep there, so on the following day I came as at seven o'clock to my house, I took a shower and had to go out again, since a very good friend was of birthday. That's why, finally I divided Pirque and my week was there same where I ended.

After all, what I can say about this one holiday, is that it was incredible =)

Francisca, my friend

Hello!

This time, I will talk to you about my friend Francisca, who really already is like a sister for me. I met Fran on having entered to kínder, she was quite shy, so we were not speaking very much; nevertheless, the time was happening and in first grade of primary  we were already related more, were playing, we were going  to her house or to mine, anyway … we Were growing together, happening for similar processes, sharing our surprises for the changes, our happy moments, losses, sadnesses, confusions, emotions and, well, all. During the whole school period we were class-mate, then she began to study midwifery and I began to study psychology; nevertheless, we see us a lot – it plays us in favor through that in fact we live very close, two blocks in facto hahaha - none is very good to speak neither for Internet nor for phone, so we do the time to ourselves to join and to put ourselves on the day of the things through that other one is living, if it is well, the family, etc.

I believe that what more differentiates to us the one of other one, is that Fran is a very rational person, she thinks enough the things before doing them, it is somewhat opposed to the leather contact, it is organized, arrange and very responsibly; on the other hand I, good, I am everything opposite. But I believe that that is good, since, we show ourselves different visions of the things and each one balances a bit to other one. =)

The first period of 2010

This time, I will tell them a little about how it was the beginning of the year for me.  Well, this year  began of quite strange form. Academically, we finish the second semester - I go in secundo year - at the end of March and we begin in April with the properly such second year. 

In spite of that, in the same way we had holidays, perhaps more annotated, but that took advantage to the maximum; for example, I went away two weeks for Coñaripe, which stays in the ninth region, it surrounds Panguipulli, Villarrica, Curarrehue, between others. It is a wonderful place, there I remained in tent in a small island that stays at the end of that place.

On the other hand, the beginning of the this year, as for the mobilizations students, was somewhat disorganized, be cause the fortitudes were not the best, one was feeling the weariness in all, nevertheless, either closer to half of year, we could organize ourselves better and began again with the works to keep on giving the fight and to manage, little by little the changes that we want for our educational system and, well, in fact for all the functioning of life of the system that we have nowadays.

It is as well as we come even nowadays, where we are a little better  and continue with the rhythm of things that, in some moment, saw suspended by the different adversities that we are.

Santiago.

Well, I am not a really fan of Santiago but I think it have a certain charm. For example, I rescue the accessibility that the this city –and all  big cities in general- have in compare with  others places (for example, mi brother  live in Curarrehue and  he really don’t have the  means to go easily  to any place, either to get an health service or to go a place and have a good time).  Also I like the differents visible sceneries that the city have, like the infrastructure mixed with the differents colors that appears in a day.
For another hand, I really don’t like the life style that we have in the city, be cause it’s –for me- so accelerated, with indifference for the others, worried only by them selves. I think  that in Santiago it’s disappear a little bit ( a huge little bit) the live with others, the socialization and the people its transformed  step by step in a kind of robots.

So, the only thing that I can tell you if you came to Santiago, is that you try to talk a lot with the persons, be cause you might discover  a lot of things, histories and persons so interesting, that  are worth  to know.

Julian Assange's Case

For me this is an unusual case, be cause I do not understand how it is that they criminalize a fact that - yes it is true, it can have violated certain norms – after all, didn’t have any more purpose that reveal situations of government that, certainly, affects all who belong to the society; and that on the other hand, there are committed so much injustices, violations of the rights, arbitrary handling of situations on the part of those who have the power (be already economic like administrative, although at present it is the same thing), without mattering for them more than your own well-being and profit, but that these are spent for high, justified and even, legitimized and "normalized". In this sense, I believe that exaggerated faults assume Assange and, again, of arbitrary form, to safeguard the interests of those who turned out to be harmed after the disqualification of certain documents, which, to me to seem, in many ocations were the real guilties.

 Continuing with this line, I think that the offering of the Ecuadorians, to give him political assignment is adapted, in my opinion is that - on having been blamed - the doors closed him immediately in its country and he turned out to be forbidden to exhibit its position at least so that the people not only were remaining with the version of the government; for the same - and considering its situation to be unjust - I believe that he needs this space to exhibit his points and to remove this image, falsified perhaps, that generate the television or newspaper about its case.

My blog experience .. :)

Hi everybody ! Today I will analyzed my writing blog experience. Well, this time was pass so fast for me and I really don`t know how we are here finished class of English x).

Uhm.. I really like this experience, be cause  it was a very different way of learn English, it was more recreational and practical way and I enjoy  writing  the differents topics that we have to do.

I think that this was a very useful way to learn English, be cause we really have to practice this language in its daily way, applying English grammar and lexical.

I also like the environment of the classes : the group that was formed was very enjoyable and classes were very welcoming. 

The advantages -I think- of blogging in class instead of make the ordinary class of English are many: first of all, like I said before, the experience to immediately practice what we are learning it is so rewarding, be cause we could learn things we use everyday instead of learning the language just formalities. Also the class –to be practical- it was more entertaining and pleasant.

For another hand, the disadvantages of this way to learn –from my way of seeing- are:  the lack of specific feddback that can be done about, be cause the thing that we write in our blogs are so wide. Uhm.. appart of that I don’t find any other thing that would be a disadvantage.

Anyway, although I can’t say that all the topics we have to write were to my liking, I think this whole class are very useful for us and very practical and amusing too. 

I hope that the class has served to all of us and that we see later in the English Four, writing anothers blog :B ..

My favourite writer !

Hi classmates !

In this oportunity I won’t  telling you about the last book that I read (be cause I like so many books), but I  will talk to you about my favourite writer of ever !..

He is Mario Benedetti.. I like so much his way of writing. He was a poet, novelist, playwright and journalist. Well, unfortunately he is dead (in May of 2009).

I really love his poems, be cause I fell that he express so much with his conjugation of words. I think that he write with so much feelings and  he communicate his emotions so well. For example:  “(...)If the sun doesn’t warm/ if the moon did not exist,/ then, it would/ sense to live on this earth/ as it would nos makes sense/ live without my life (...)” (For ever, M. Benedetti). Others poems that I really love of Benedetti are: The words. Go together. I love you. Why we sing? .  Don’t save you. Lets make a deal.

I think that the firs book that I read of Mario Benedetti was “La Tregua”, I read this book in the school and I love it. I really enjoy reading this book although I was very little when I read it. But even when I read now this book, and all of Benedetti, I like so much.  

Some of his essays that I like are:  “The culture, this still white” and  “The  reality and the word”.

Uhmm… what else of Benedetti ?  Well there is so much to tell about this ecxelent writer, but I am not here for telling you his biography, although is so interesting of reading x).
